Our Founder - Dr. Alison Pattison
Dr. Alison Pattison has focused her passion for excellence in teaching and learning both in her work in adult education and in the classes she teaches. Based on her knowledge in classroom teaching, she has written numerous curriculum programs to maximize student learning, both online and face-to-face. Additionally, her teaching background consists of fifteen years of elementary teaching and high school counseling in both Arizona and Louisiana. She worked in both the public and private sector with students of diverse backgrounds.
She also worked as a teacher of teachers in conference presentations and in teaching education courses at Arizona State University (ASU), Northern Arizona University (NAU), Louisiana State University (LSU), and Grand Canyon University (GCU). She completed her doctorate in Education: Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. For her dissertation, she studied the relationship between faculty social presence and online graduate student achievement, satisfaction, and persistence. Dr. Pattison’s earlier degrees are from Ottawa University where earned a Master’s Degree in School Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
