Course Content for ASHI CPR/AEDGood Samaritan Law, complications of CPR, stroke, heart attack, CPR barriers, choking, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and CPR for the adult, child and infant.Each student will be required to practice hands-on CPR skills in this course. Duration: Approximately 2 hoursThis certification is valid for 2 years.Audience: Anyone needing a certification that specifically states "CPR/AED” WE CAN COME TO YOU!Call our office if you have alarge group and would like aninstructor to come to your facility. This class does not include First Aid. If you need a First Aid class, please also register for a First Aid class. Thank you

You have 90 days to complete the skills training in person after completing the online course. Please go to AP.training to enroll in of the CPR AED and first aid skills test out. Once you purchase the online course on the AP.training website, you will receive an email with in 24 hours from HSI (Health and Safety Institute) these emails may go to your junk and spam folder. The email with the course link DOES NOT come from APT, and you can not access it from the APT website. The online course MUST be completed prior to the skills test out, we can not test you out unless the online portions is complete.

This course focuses on understanding cultural diversity and how it impacts a caregiver’s interactions with members. Participants will learn about the benefits of diversity, barriers to diversity, as well as tips for adapting to cultural differences.
